This is for my father, Robert N. Lyle, who went to tech. My family have given me a Tech 1934 class poster and it's in very good shape . I very much want to find someone that can take it for the school. I know that the school is gone but there must be some place to hang this. It,s way too big for a house . It is approximately 3ft. by 4ft. or more . I really hate to see this get torn up stored in the garage. Please save this for the Class of 1934.

| I'm back. I live in Huntington Beach, Ca. I have 3 grown children and 5 grandchildren. My 5 year old granddaughter just finished 26months of chemo for leukemia. She is in full remission and the future looks great for her. I moved from Memphis to Albuquerque, then to San Francisco and then finally landed in Huntington Beach where I have been for 24 years. I have been a facilities and construction manager most of my life (that cosmetology thing just wasn't my life long dream as I had thought it was). I miss Memphis, but I live in Heaven on Earth. I would love to hear from some of my classmates and see what you have been up to. I get back to Memphis a couple of times a year, my Mom and 1sister and my oldest son live there. I am not sure if Larry Padgett went to Tech but his sister, Joann graduated from Tech. They grew up in Bethel Grove community. Here is obit for Larry. Prayers to Joann and Keith and rest of Padgett family.

LETTER FROM ROB JOLLY
A dear friend of mine, Rita Gallagher,
needs help. Her husband, Kevin, was in
a traffic accident in February, gashed his leg open, had two heart attacks, got a collapsed lung, several infections and never made it out of the hospital.
Knowing he was not going to live, Kevin asked to be taken off all machines and passed away peacefully. Before all this Kevin had been laid off from a great job due to the poor economy and they had to rely on savings to survive. Rita needs our help!
We have started a fund called Rita’s Shares.
We are looking for 100 compassionate friends that will donate $10 a month for one year. This will allow Rita to grieve and not worry about losing her home while she does so. We already have 41 people signed up and are looking for 59 more. We started the fund on May 27th. Ask friends of yours also. Let’s help Rita know that people care. Contact me for info on donations.

Dear Tech Friends,
Those of you who were at Tech during the era of art teacher Jobe Walker will be as saddened as I am today as I read his obituary in the Commercial Appeal. It is beautifully written and details a life of lovingly shared talent and service to others. He was a noble person and enriched our lives during our time at Tech. Fortunately, he knew he was appreciated, as so many former students have told me how they sought him out to tell him how he impacted their lives. May God bless and sustain his loved ones in his loss.
