Today just by chance I googled Tech High and was so happy to find this site!

or my brothers Mark Pipkins(1970-71)he played football and Butch Pipkins, he played basket ball? (73-74-75)
I was kind of shy, I had Mrs Hunt for home room for 2 years and I also took cosmetology (3rd floor,
Mrs Morris was my English teacher and she was very kind and encouraging to me.
I see quite a few names that I remember-

I went to Nashville this weekend with the girls for our class and we had the best time. It was so great reminisiscing about the past and making new memories.
Thanks to all who arranged the weekend it means so much to get together more often than every 10 years.
I hope this group keep this up and more of you from the class of 69 participates.

| Several ladies from the 1969 Class took a mini trip to Nashville this weekend. Stayed at the Radisson, across from Opryland Hotel, Saturday night. We went to see the Radio City Rockettes Christmas Spectacular at the Grand Old Opry House. This was absolutely wonderful. We all had a GREAT time! These meetings are enjoyable and we ladies have renewed (and in some cases formed) lasting bonds with one another. These are the sisters I never had and I love you all for being a part of my life. |

| The last message about Thanksgiving baskets touched my heart, and I join Gary in his holiday wishes for the Tech High family. Generosity was one of the hallmarks of Tech students and faculty, especially at Thanksgiving and Christmas. Once, when our homeroom secretary was taking up our daily donations for our basket, Miss Margaret Kelly was in the hallway. She whispered to me with tears in her eyes that one of my homeroom boys who had just donated a dollar, maybe his lunch money, was from a family on the Guidance Department's list to receive one of the baskets. God bless all of you who loved and continue to love Tech. |
